Never forget to pray?

This article contains instructions for how use the Prayer Notes function in the online platform (CBS Connect) and never forget to pray!

The Prayer Notes have been developed to help you keep track of the prayer needs of your group and to bring those needs to God regularly. Each lesson has a space for you to write the prayer needs into and then as you continue in the study you will be reminded of the needs you wrote before.

Many groups pray at the end of the study together. If your group prays at the start of your time together you may need to adapt your use of tCBS Connect to that pattern.

Summary:

To update the prayer needs go to the ‘Let’s pray together ‘ section where you find two boxes (except in Lesson 1). Type new prayer needs in the second box. Then you will be reminded during the study of the needs you wrote.

1.) Log in to the CBS Connect.

2.) Click ‘My courses’ at the top of the page.

3.) Click Open course to go to your course homepage.

4.) You can access the lessons for your course from the menu on the left-hand side of the page.

5.) Note that Lesson 1 has a section ‘Lets pray for each other’.

6.) This is where you can write your prayer needs.

7.) In Lesson 2 (and all subsequent lessons) the ‘Let’s pray for each other’ section is placed at the end of the discussion time.

8.) Here the ‘lets pray together’ section is different. There are two boxes. In the box above there is the reminder of what you HAVE BEEN praying for. In the box below you can enter the prayer needs which you hear about at this meeting. So you have a record of what you have prayed for and what you will pray for (including praise items!).

So in summary to update the prayer needs go to the ‘Let’s pray together ‘ section where you find two boxes and you put new prayer needs in the second box.
